Directions:
1. Straighten the ear canal by reaching over your head and pulling the outer ear up and back
2. Grasp the ear plug stem using the opposite hand and insert it using small amount of pressure. Push it forward in a circular motion to form an airtight seal
Caution: With a twisting motion, remove the ear plug slowly to gradually break the seal. It’s best to do slowly as rapid removal may damage the eardrum.
Caution: Do not push the ear plug too far into the ear to ensure the ear plugs are easy to remove. To gradually break the seal remove slowly with a twisting motion.
TIPS
• If you’re experiencing trouble when trying to create a seal, try wiggling the stem of the ear plug while gently pushing the plug forward. This should achieve an airtight seal
• If you are having trouble inserting the plug, during insertion try pointing the tip of the plug slightly forward, towards your face
Cleaning Instructions: Wash with mild soap and water. Dry thoroughly before inserting into ear.
WARNING: Mack’s AquaBlock ear plugs are recommended for ages 7 and up, but not recommended for use with ear tubes or by patients recovering from ear surgery, unless directed by a doctor.
