Earplugs for Swimming • Showering Special filters Whilst swimming, showering or participating in any other water sport wear a pair of SwimSafe ear plugs to prevent water entering the ear. When wearing these swimming ear plugs you will be able to hear sufficient ambient noise thanks to the special acoustic filters. For swimming, the plugs should be inserted carefully in the ear. Do not use SwimSafe beyond a depth of 1 metre underwater. SwimSafe ear plugs are suitable for children with ear drains, or in the event of a perforated eardrum or ear infection. Alpine SwimSafe ear plugs cause no unpleasant pressure on the ears and do not give a sense of isolation. Universal ear plugs with filters for swimming/water. USING THE PROTECTORS
To insert the protectors, use the enclosed insertion tube and slide the tube over the filter stem. Pull you ear upwards and insert the hearing protector into the ear canal, rotating it to ensure a snug fit. OPTIMUM FIT
The protectors are very comfortable to wear due to the soft and flexible thermoplastic material that’s used to construct them. For the optimum fit, you may need to make small adjustments, as everyone has a different ear profile. 1. Is the ear plug too wide? If you have a narrow ear canal, you can adjust the ear plug by carefully partially cutting off the largest lamella all-round. Ensure to you use a sharp pair of scissors 2. Is the ear plug too long? In the case of the ear plug protruding from your ear, carefully remove the filter from the ear plug. Cut off a small section of the stem and replace the filter in the ear plug. CLEANING/LIFETIME
If you look after your Alpine ear plugs they will last longer, so when they are in need of a clean, make sure you use lukewarm water and a little soap or with AlpineClean. NOTE: Failure to comply with the above instructions may seriously shorten the life of these ear plugs and reduce the effectiveness of them.
