Doc’s Proplugs are the official earplug of the USSF National Surf Team and are endorsed by the International Surfing Association. Doc’s Proplugs is the only earplug that protects the ears from surfer’s ear by keeping a warm pocket of air in the canal and keeping cold water out without impeding hearing and balance.

Doc’s Proplugs will not irritate the ear canal or disrupt earwax production, which is nature’s protection from foreign microorganisms. Proper use of Doc’s Proplugs prevents the flushing out of natural earwax which keeps the ear moisturized and protected.

When fitted properly, Doc’s proplugs help divers equalize their ears by reducing “ear squeeze” caused by inability to equalize between the outer and middle ear and helps prevent outer ear and inner ear infection, vertigo and thermal reaction, without ear protection, up to 65% of scuba divers suffer from ear problems which keep them away from the sport.
